The tatting is the front and back of Abby's Celtic thnail posted by Freedman 1. It seems rather bulky, but that is because i tatted it in size 10 thread. (Didn't have a stash of size 20 or 30 in the colors I wanted). I have a feeling that this was an easy Celtic pattern. Will have to find one that stretches my ability for the next try.

Very pretty! I love those celtic style doilies! The colors are nice.
I love Japanese craft books, even though I don't speak or read Japanese (well...I can say "Barmaid, bring me a beer!" but that has limited usefulness). I have several sewing and quilting books and never realized there were tatting books around. Duh...
The pink doily is so sweet, and I love the turtle.
